Running Gait Analysis
See how you really run. Our treadmill video lab lets a physical therapist study your stride, so training for the Maine Marathon or a first 5K can feel better and hurt less.
Why look at your stride
Small differences in how you land, load and push off can add up over hundreds of miles. Video on a treadmill lets us slow your stride down and look at it together, which is hard to do from the outside on a road or trail.
Who it helps
- Runners training for the Maine Marathon or another race
- New runners building up mileage
- Runners dealing with recurring aches
- Anyone returning to running after an injury or surgery
What to expect
You run on our treadmill while we record video. A physical therapist then reviews what we see with you and talks through what it may mean for your training and any pain you have.
Bring the shoes you run in, and wear what you normally run in.
